Are Child Proof Pouches worth it?

The only good thing about child proof pouches is that children cannot get into them. That’s it. If you’ve been unfortunate enough to buy a product sold in childproof packaging then you understand exactly how annoying these things are. They are more of an inconvenience than beneficial.
According to a report in The Journal of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, up to 90 percent of adults struggle to open child proof packaging. They provide a negative experience for customers since it makes them struggle to open their product when struggling is unnecessary. This causes frustration, inconvenience, delays in busy situations, extra work and excessive force that is not needed. Customers associate the negative experience with the product, which in return affects the company’s reputation. You want customers to have the smoothest experience using your product so they continue purchasing from you.
Our pouches keep the customer’s best interest in mind by omitting the childproof method from our pouches. Child proof packaging was introduced in the 1960s with the intention of preventing accidental poisoning for children under five. Although studies have shown that marijuana is not physically life threatening, we would hope that customers practice the safekeeping of their marijuana products so that children don’t get access to them. If there is a chance of a child accessing your pouch then it is worth it, but for most of us we keep our products in a space where only adults would have access to it.
